Baias Wine Tsitska Tsolikouri 2024 is a dry white qvevri wine from Obcha in Imereti, western Georgia. The blend combines 30% Tsitska with 70% Tsolikouri, bringing two local grape varieties together in a clearly defined Imeretian style. This vintage is bottled at 12.5% alcohol in a 750ml bottle. The wine is unfiltered and contains sulphites; a little natural sediment can therefore be part of its appearance.

The aromatic profile brings together citrus peel, dried fruit and white flowers. These are the defining notes to look for when exploring the wine in the glass. Its dry style makes it a useful companion to food, while the qvevri method connects the blend with the region’s traditional winemaking. For this bottle, the grape proportions, vintage and production style provide a more useful introduction than a long list of speculative tasting descriptors.

Serve Baias Wine Tsitska Tsolikouri lightly chilled and allow time for the aromas to open. We recommend starting around 10–12°C, then letting the wine warm slightly in the glass according to your preference. The producer recommends decanting and serving lightly chilled. Pour a small first glass before deciding whether to give the rest of the bottle more air; there is no need to follow a fixed decanting time.

Cheese, poultry and seafood are the producer’s suggested partners. Try it with a cheese plate, roasted chicken or a simply prepared fish dish, keeping the seasoning gentle enough to let the wine remain noticeable. Baia’s Wine Tsitska–Tsolikouri suits a relaxed meal or a tasting of Georgian grape varieties. The 2024 harvest was bottled on 19 May 2025, and the red wax closure and qvevri illustration give the bottle its familiar presentation.
