🍷 Tchotiashvili Nitsa SB 2019 Dry Rose Wine is a dry wine made from Montepulciano in Kakheti, Georgia. Part of the Specially Bottled range, it brings an Italian grape variety into the producer's qvevri winemaking. The winery describes the rosé as fermented from grape juice without skins in qvevri. This 2019 release comes in a 750 ml bottle at 13% alcohol and was bottled on 5 March 2021.
Fruit and flowers are at the centre of its aromatic profile. Redcurrant, strawberry, pomegranate and cornelian cherry sit alongside delicate floral notes. On the palate, red berries are joined by pomegranate and barberry, with pronounced acidity and a long, harmonious finish. The dry style and lively structure make it an inviting option for an aperitif or a meal built around several lighter dishes.
🏆 Tchotiashvili Nitsa SB 2019 Dry Rose Wine received a Bronze medal at the 2024 IWSC. That recognition belongs to this vintage.
