Tchotiashvili Dark Uta Red Wine 750ml 13% (2019, Kakheti, Georgia)
Tchotiashvili Dark Uta Red Wine “Dark Uta” is a rare and masterfully crafted dry red wine that reflects the heart of Georgian winemaking excellence — a perfect fusion of ancestral craftsmanship and natural purity 🍇🏺
Produced by the Tchotiashvili Family Winery in Kakheti, this Specially Bottled edition represents the winery’s most refined and limited creations — wines born only from the best vintages, hand-selected for their balance, depth, and soul
Tchotiashvili Dark Uta Red Wine Made using the traditional Kakhetian qvevri method, the wine undergoes 3.5 months of maceration on full grape skins, pips, and stems, extracting maximum color, structure, and tannin. After fermentation, it is aged for 3 months in oak barrels, enhancing roundness and elegance without overpowering the natural varietal character
No additives or fining agents are used — only minimal sulfites (SO₂) for disinfecting barrels and qvevri. The wine is bottled unfiltered, preserving its authentic expression and vitality
Tchotiashvili Dark Uta Red Wine In the glass, Dark Uta shows a vivid pomegranate-red color with deep ruby reflections
On the nose — aromas of wild berries, blackcurrant, cherry, and light oak spice, balanced by subtle earthy tones 🌿🍒
On the palate — full-bodied, soft, and persistent, with layers of dark fruit, forest plum, cocoa, and oak, leading to a long, harmonious finish with gentle tannins and mineral freshness
Each bottle is individually numbered and signed by the oenologist, a mark of authenticity and limited availability
Perfect for pairing with grilled meats, roasted lamb, mature cheese, and traditional Georgian dishes 🥩🧀🍷
Tchotiashvili Dark Uta Red Wine is not just a wine — it’s a tribute to time, patience, and purity; a collector’s piece that embodies the living spirit of Georgian winemaking 🇬🇪✨
