Baias Wine Tsitska Tsolikouri Krakhuna White Blend White (Georgia)
Baias Wine Tsitska Tsolikouri Krakhuna White Blend 750ml β 13.6% ABV (2019, Imereti, Georgia) π¬πͺ is a natural, artisanal white wine crafted by Baia Abuladze, one of Georgiaβs most acclaimed female winemakers. Produced in Imereti, this blend brings together three of the regionβs signature grapes: Tsolikouri (60%), Tsitska (20%), and Krakhuna (20%).
Made with the traditional qvevri method, the wine undergoes 15 days of skin-contact maceration, wild yeast fermentation, and six months of natural maturation in clay pitchers. It remains unfiltered with minimal sulfites (32mg), making it a pure expression of low-intervention winemaking.
It shows a golden-straw hue β¨ with aromas of persimmon, apricot π, and citrus π. On the palate, it is full-bodied, dry, and complex, with vibrant fruit, refreshing acidity, and a long, pleasant finish.
At 13.6% ABV, this blend pairs beautifully with fish π, chicken π, roasted vegetables π₯, and a variety of cheeses π§. Best served chilled at 10β12Β°C, itβs both versatile and elegant.
Distinctive and authentic, this wine reflects the heritage of Imereti while showcasing the innovation of women-led Georgian winemaking. A must-try for lovers of natural, qvevri-aged wines.
