Madame Veuve Point Macon-Villages 750ml 13% (France, Burgundy)
Madame Veuve Point Macon-Villages is a bright, elegant, and terroir-driven white Burgundy crafted by one of the most historically significant families in the region. The legacy of Madame Veuve Point began in the early 1900s, when her wines achieved international acclaim — including the Grand Prize at the 1904 Saint Louis World’s Fair. Today, her great-great-granddaughter Géraldine Point continues this tradition of excellence with a portfolio of celebrated cuvées produced across Burgundy.
Madame Veuve Point Macon-Villages is sourced from limestone–rich vineyards in the southern part of Burgundy, where warm days and cool nights allow grapes to develop freshness, minerality, and expressive aromatics. Vinified in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks, the wine preserves purity, tension, and the clean, floral character typical of the Mâconnais.
In the glass, the wine displays a pale golden color with shimmering green reflections. The nose opens with bright citrus, white flowers, pear, and hints of acacia blossom, supported by subtle mineral notes. On the palate, it is crisp, lively, and beautifully balanced — offering flavors of lemon, green apple, stone fruit, and a delicate touch of honey. The finish is fresh, linear, and elegant, highlighting the finesse that defines the Madame Veuve Point style.
Recommended food pairings include grilled fish, seafood platters, goat cheese, fresh salads, pesto pasta, vegetable quiches, and soft, creamy cheeses such as Brie and Saint-Nectaire. Serve well-chilled at 10–12°C to appreciate its full aromatic charm.
A graceful and refreshing white Burgundy — expressive, mineral, and crafted with over a century of family dedication. ✨🍇
