Tamburini The Massif IGT Sangiovese Red Wine 14.5% (Chianti, Italy)
Tamburini The Massif IGT Sangiovese Red Wine 750ml (Italy) π· is a bold and elegant Tuscan red crafted with passion and precision. Produced from a refined blend of 85% Sangiovese and 15% Merlot, this wine embodies both the tradition of Tuscanyβs flagship grape and the smoothness contributed by Merlot.
Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks to preserve freshness and varietal character. Once complete, the wine undergoes 12 months of maturation in cement vats, a traditional method that ensures natural refinement and balance. Afterward, it is further aged for a minimum of 6 months in bottle, enhancing its smooth texture and aromatic complexity.
In the glass, The Massif displays a brilliant ruby-red color β¨. The bouquet is intense and rounded, with expressive notes of red forest fruits ππ², subtle floral tones, and gentle hints of spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet well-balanced, offering fine tannic structure, smooth texture, and a persistent, harmonious finish.
At ~13β14% ABV, The Massif IGT Sangiovese is versatile and food-friendly. It pairs beautifully with grilled meats π, pasta with tomato-based sauces π, cured meats π₯, and aged cheeses π§. A wine that captures the soul of Tuscany in every sip.
