๐ฟ AGWA de Bolivia Coca Leaf Herbal Liqueur - is a coca leaf herbal liqueur crafted in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, using Bolivian coca leaves. This is the 700 ml, 30% ABV expression, recognisable by its bright green colour, tall rectangular bottle and red cap. Its identity brings together a South American botanical ingredient and Dutch production, making it a distinctive alternative to familiar fruit or cream liqueurs.
๐ Decocainized coca leaves are central to the blend. The botanical recipe also includes ginseng, green tea, lavender and guarana among 36 additional herbs and botanicals. This combination gives AGWA its herbal direction; it should be approached as an alcoholic liqueur, not as an energy drink or a product with health benefits. The number 40 in the bottle artwork is part of the coca-leaf blend presentation and does not indicate its alcohol strength.
๐ง Try AGWA de Bolivia Coca Leaf Herbal Liqueur over ice with a squeeze of fresh lime, a serve recommended in the brandโs distribution portfolio. Lime-based cocktails are another natural way to explore it. For a longer drink, a little soda water is our suggested starting point: add it gradually so that the botanical character remains in focus. Adjust the citrus and dilution to your preference rather than adding several strong mixers at once.
๐
AGWA de Bolivia Coca Leaf Liqueur at 30% ABV received a Silver medal at the 2010 SIP Awards. This verified tasting award is separate from the competitionโs packaging-design results. The bottle offered here is the original green herbal liqueur, not AGWA Diablo, XO or Cocablue.
