Kuehn Pinot Gris 2023 Demi Sec White Wine 750ml 12.5% (France)
🍇 Kuehn Pinot Gris 2023 Demi Sec White Wine is a medium-dry white wine from Alsace AOC, France. It brings together generous fruit, a rounded palate and a gentle touch of sweetness, offering an inviting choice for an aperitif or a relaxed dinner. The 750 ml bottle contains 12.5% alcohol. If you enjoy a white wine with depth and a softer style, this Alsatian Pinot Gris is well suited to the table.
🏡 Maison Kuehn’s history in Ammerschwihr stretches back to 1675. Les Caves de l’Enfer takes its name from the house’s historic rock-cut cellars, which form part of its long connection with Alsace. The vines grow on east and southeast facing hillsides around Ammerschwihr, sheltered from western winds by the foothills of the Vosges, on predominantly clay and limestone soils.
🍑 A golden-yellow colour introduces notes of yellow fruit, peach, dried apricot and melon, accompanied by a delicate smoky character and woodland nuances. The palate is broad and fruit driven, with apricot and subtle honeyed notes. A refreshing final impression brings balance to its richness and makes it enjoyable alongside a range of savoury dishes.
🥂 Kuehn Pinot Gris 2023 Demi Sec White Wine - Pneumatic pressing is followed by careful vinification and several months of maturation on fine lees, helping develop structure and aromatic expression. Serve at 8–10°C in a white-wine glass. Try it with duck, sautéed mushrooms, pasta, risotto or chicken tagine; Asian cuisine offers another appealing match. The cuvée’s total ageing potential is one to three years from the vintage, depending on storage. It is a useful bottle for a meal that moves from an aperitif into richer main courses.
