Taccorosso Negroamaro Puglia IGP Red Wine – 750ml – 14.5% – Italy
The Taccorosso Negroamaro Puglia IGP 750ml 14.5% (Italy) 🍷 is a flagship wine of the Paololeo winery, crafted from the region’s oldest Negroamaro vineyards in Southern Italy. Celebrated for its depth, elegance, and award-winning quality, this red represents the heart of Puglia’s winemaking heritage.
Harvested manually in the early hours of dawn 🌅, only the finest grapes are selected from traditional bush-trained vines exposed to the cooling breezes of both the Ionian and Adriatic seas. After destemming and maceration on the skins for 12–15 days, the wine undergoes gentle pressing and fermentation at 25°C, followed by 10 months of aging in French oak tonneaux and 3 months in bottle for refinement.
In the glass, it displays a deep ruby-red color with garnet reflections ✨. The bouquet is complex and intense, offering aromas of blackberries, cassis, licorice, roasted coffee ☕, and Mediterranean herbs 🌿. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-structured, with velvety tannins, balanced acidity, and a lingering finish of black fruits and spice.
With 14.5% ABV, Taccorosso Negroamaro pairs beautifully with roasted lamb 🍖, grilled meats, rich pasta dishes 🍝, and aged cheeses 🧀. A refined Italian red that unites tradition and power.
