1864 Castillo Garnacha Tempranillo Red Wine 750ml 14% (Spain) 🍷 is an elegant, full-bodied expression of two of Spain’s most iconic grape varieties. Crafted from 90% Garnacha and 10% Tempranillo, this wine reflects both freshness and structure, delivering a perfect balance between fruit and oak.

Aged for 18 months in oak barrels (60% French, 40% American), with barrels ranging from new to 3 years old, it develops complexity while preserving its vibrant character. In the glass, it presents a high-intensity cherry-red color ✨. The bouquet is layered and enticing, offering aromas of fresh black fruits 🫐, spices, balsamic notes, cedar, and hints of underbrush 🌿.

On the palate, this wine is full-bodied, well-structured, and elegant, with polished tannins and balanced acidity. It delivers rich flavors of ripe dark berries, subtle spice, and earthy undertones, leading into a long mineral aftertaste that lingers beautifully.

At 14% ABV, this Garnacha–Tempranillo blend pairs perfectly with roasted lamb πŸ–, grilled red meats, game dishes 🦌, spicy charcuterie πŸ₯“, and mature cheeses πŸ§€. A versatile and sophisticated Spanish red, ideal for both cellaring and immediate enjoyment.
